Der Satz lässt sich wunderbar in 3 Sinnabschnitte unterteilen, nämlich:
- Nam socii istius scelesti hominis salutem civium romanorum contemnebant
- haec iura, has leges, hanc rem publicam evertebant (socii immer noch Subjekt)
- sibi potentiam vi armisque quaerebant
Und jetzt schlage bitte eine eigene Übersetzung vor

Den ersten Teil mach ich mal vor:
-Nam ->denn
-wer?->socii - wessen?->istius scelesti hominis
-machten was?->contemnebant
-wen/was?->salutem - wessen?->civium romanorum
Und bitte...
