Hallo zusammen,
ich brauche keine Übersetzung des Textes, aber eine Erklärung für das »quo« (fett), bitte:
Ist das »quo« eine Betonung?
Als aus dieser Stadt die Gesandten mit der Bitte zu ihm gekommen waren...

Normale Stellung, wenn qui, quae, quod im Ablativ stehen (ebenso z. B. bei hoc: hoc in casu etc.).

Quo ex oppido ist zudem ein relativer Satzanschluss ( Statt: Eo/hoc ex oppido)
Es handelt sich um eine geschlossene Wortstellung (Hyperbaton).
